Joe from sewage is like a cross between Jason Lee and Asmongold.
[7.1/10] This is an episode of Parks and Rec that’s better thought of as a series of sketches than as a complete story. Sure, there’s the animating goal of getting the telethon total to $20,000 or Mark perhaps proposing to Ann, but those really just provide a spine to have Leslie be her most loony, punchy self, Ron to display his unfortunate habit of “sleep fighting”, and the rest of the gang and citizens of Pawnee to show off their most useless talents. There’s the wisp of a good emotional story with Leslie caught between Mark and Ann and their different feelings about their relationship, but ultimately it feels underdone.
By the same token, seeing Tom get drunk and basically by babysat by Detlef Shremp is amusing enough, but it’s basically a lark of a B-plot that keeps both busy until it’s time to save the day. There’s some good oddball comedy in the episode, but it’s mostly just an amiable showcase for each member of the cast to do some random funny stuff.
