This is a really amazing show.
An absolute masterpiece. I wish it could have gone on for longer, but it's no less perfect
This shown was really good. 10/10
Amazing show. Story is so layered and very much cold happen in real life.
genuinely one of the best shows ever created
Absolutely fantastic show. Even if you're not an anime fan, watch this.
This show was fantastic. I can't believe I didn't discover it until after it was cancelled. It would have been great to see the story extended by a couple more seasons to see what they could get out of it. But where they took the second season was very final. Very conclusive.
Wow, what a show - especially the last episodes of season 2 are mind-blowing! Can not recommend enough.
Gorgeous finale that wraps up a lot of the story in a pretty satisfying way imo, love the use of time skips to conclude the story
Great show if you don't mind animation. The series finale will blow your mind.
I'm so happy they made a second season. I just finished watching it, and it was definitely the ending this show deserved. Amazing.
A second season was in production by August 2022. On January 8, 2023, AMC canceled the series after one season, despite a two-season order. It was also removed from the AMC's streaming service and HIDIVE. In September 2023, Amazon Prime Video announced that it picked up the series for release.
Absolute underrated gem of a series from 2022. I heard nothing about this until I actually saw it pop up on Trakt months after it had finished season 1.
Great concept, really well executed, slow pace with constant escalation, starts on really small scale to invest you into the characters, and highly realistic at least while establishing the world and technology so makes it easier to suspend disbelief when it cuts loose in the last few episodes. Great voice cast and from what I can tell almost zero marketing from AMC+.
Build an interesting story about the permanence of being without the body, the technology that allows keeping the mind awake when the rest of the body is dead. Although its ideas are very similar to those of the anime "Lain" (1998) but much less complex in the reflection on the soul and the human being, it ends up being too confusing in the development and not especially fascinating in its visual aspect.
I randomly came across this show and I'm so glad I did. This is brilliant and highly recommend it.
I really hope there is another season.
wow that was just wonderful! i did not expected such a great show. forget the trailer, this is really something else. gripping, modern, emotional, stunnig, clever. i am not watching so much animated stuff so i am very happy i tried this. fingers crossed for another season.
it's just a discount serial experiments lain.
Loving this so far, it's Serial Experiments Lain meets Invincible!
I can’t believe it’s cancelled, it was really good :(
An excellent show destroyed by AMC. They renewed a show like fear the walking dead which is the worst show after season 3 for a total of 8 seasons and is refusing to release the season 2 of pantheon despite it being completed. I really hope some other studio picks up this show. Interesting story, excellent soundtracks, lovable characters... everything is great!
What is your humanity worth?
Ambani is the villain in this animated sci-fi series
He's the head of an indian telecom empire called 'Alliance'. Makers literally set fire to antilla and cooked him inside his own home.
I literally caught the fact that he is being portrayed as Ambani when I heard 'Alliance'(Reliance?):eyes::innocent:
I really enjoyed this and recommend it!
Emotional, action, well-written story with a conclusive ending. Kinda wished it'd continue but still its a masterpiece!! 100% one of my all time favourites!
This show is fantastic. Absolute masterpiece!
This series is breathtakingly ambitious. The first season is science fiction as it should be done on TV. It didn't expect it to go even further in the second season.
The story begins, no spoilers, with the idea of the first humans who upload into computers and how this triggers the SF concept of "singularity". All I have told you so far is what you can read on a "premise" of the show.
The show is animated but don't let that pit you off. The voice talent is stellar. The story in season 1 takes its time to get going as it begins in the mundane and then launches into SF. Trust me when I tell you it's nothing compared to where season 2 is eventually going.
It's a well made and intelligent science fiction TV show and deserves your attention.
Started as great sci-fi, but sadly quickly became mediocre fantasy.
Really amazing series, season 2 even better than season 1, which itself was awesome
That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Still sobbing.
I’m curious as to why they decided to animate this. Don’t get me wrong I love animation but just Feel like it would have pulled in more people if it was live action.
Interesting themes, gripping and “action” packed. I didn’t like certain decisions made by characters (though they were fundamental for plot development, but felt forced) and the ending felt sudden/rushed and not executed smoothly. But otherwise still really enjoyed the show.
This show was amazing and I'm a bit shocked to learned at some point it was cancelled. This would make a great live action sci-fi show or movie
Jeez, as a legit attempt of anime in the US on a major network, this show is the worst! Majorly flat useless characters and the techno jargon is actually offensive to anyone that codes. The socialist Chinese utopia against the repulsive capitalist North America metaphors would be offensive to both sides if it the dialog wasn’t so pathetically stupid. I feel stupider for watching.
Legitimately a 10/10, I am still incredibly upset about it's cancellation. What an incredible show. Just incredible.
A great show that i took far too long to finish, that’s unlikely to get a 2nd season.
Excellent high quality sci-fi show. Someone needs to track down the server with a copy of season 2 and leak it.
it's a really nice show, hopefully netflix atleast picks it up

WTF?? Cancelled??? This animated series is really amazing! Ok, maybe people criticized the "animation", but the story is wonderful
Didn't had big expectations for this show while watching the first episodes but, quality went up while going on.
The little girl bizarre reaction about his father on a box made very sense on later episodes with all the ethical questions raised.
The boy main story on the other hand stay from start to finish really weak (almost useless) for the whole story.
The series as a whole is good and the teenage show impression of the beginning is very quicly forgotten.
Great show, would've made a phenomenal live-action show!
This is a weird story to rate because I liked the outcome (as of S01?), I would recommend it to anyone looking to watch a sci-fi story around AI, but the characters made me jump through hoops I still don't know if it was necessary. I've found myself rooting for everyone at one point or another, then against, then frustrated, happy, sad... I guess it's all part of the package as they try to explore the depth of human emotions throughout, but that also made all of them seem a bit too fickle for my taste.

While a lot about this show is fantastic, its sprawling scope begins to undermine the themes at the heart of the show.
The writing is great but a several shades from perfect, narrative arcs are meaningful and move quickly, and the characters are reasonable and pragmatic. The animation is utterly mediocre, but isn't bad enough to be called distracting.
There are a lot of elements to like and the final package is substantial, but for a show obsessed with exploring big philosophical questions, it spends increasingly little time exploring the emotional consequences of it's answers. I don't know whether the second season was condensed due to the shows impending cancellation - it certainly feels like they could have had several more episodes if they'd slowed things down - but while it serves as a narrative conclusion to the story, I dont think it works as an emotional conclusion to it.
That makes the overall experience feel like spending hours to solve a math problem and come up with the wrong answer. The work is good and logical and consistent, but when you do the final calculations the output just isn't right.
Until uploads become closer to reality, I'd only recommend this to dedicated fans of science fiction. For everyone else, there are more fun problems and better answers elsewhere.
