Pandora 2019

If I was in a coma and someone put this show on, I would wake up to turn it off ... 0/10

I tried, it's just too cheesy and the actors don't act like "people"... People don't act like this in real life, and wouldn't in that scenario... It's like it was written by a 10 year old after hearing the basic plot from someone who overheard the plot at a noisy bar. CGI etc is great, it feels almost like the story could be a good one... if it wasn't so badly written... This review is better written.

If you can put up with the day time soap acting and writing, then you'll love this show. Otherwise take a pass on this one.

Pandora is possibly the worst Sci-Fi show I've ever seen. It's like watching a high school drama project produced on a very limited budget. The characters are painfully plastic and totally unengaging. The storyline. (if you can call it that) is puerile and predictable. It's seriously cringeworthy material. Why the producers are making a second season is beyond my comprehension. They should be hiding their heads in shame for churning out this garbage. Watching a Teletubbies marathon, is preferable to sitting through one episode of Pandora. Seriously folks, Pandora is dreadful and should be avoided at all costs.

I try to give a show 3 episodes before I decide to watch it or not, but this one I can't. After the 2nd episode this was removed from my watch list.

show is made just for those about to hit puberty. 8 minutes into the first episode everyone is dressed normal for college, she is in a black dress for clubbing, her new best friend is cheap version of anime. the most funny part in this 8 minutes is when they say to her - the school started 2 weeks ago your grades were great in previous school it wont be too hard 4 u to play catch up - wtf its just 2 first weeks of school who cant catch up with that?
if there was any character development and if the creators took their own show seriously it could be nice series. but they didnt even bothered to develop it so it hasnt even touched any potencial, never mind everything in the show is stolen, pardon inspired by every other major scifi show

This could have been good. I had an interesting premise, it just didn't rise above a high school space opera. After watching 2 episodes, I'm rating this a 5 (a bore) out of 10 and I'm abandoning watching it any further. The direction is just too immature. [Scifi Space Opera]

I got through about half the first episode before I had to quit. There is absolutely no sense of pace , some scenes are unnecessarily slow while others race through expositional dialogue. Time between events just happens without care. And the two professors I saw, both uncle and protocol, are intensely overacted.

Congratulations to whatever intern pitched and wrote this pile of junk.

Within the first 5 minutes, almost as bad as the outpost.

If this was filmed in the 80's it would be rather ok show. Sadly it is 40 years to late.

So, 180 years from now, they still use escalators?

Bad Writing. Bad Acting.

The idea was good but with the terrible writing and cardboard acting, the show is not worth watching.

Ok either I blinked and missed something or this show thinks we are just dumb. I watched season 1. Yes I had no life but I’m watching season 2 and nothing makes sense as it’s like a timojump and they try to do this is what happened since season 1. Don’t get me wrong the show still sucks.

Basically another CW college kids series just in sci-fi disguise... I'm too old for this.

after watching the first episode I find that the storyline seems a little weak. there are some strange holes in me storyline and the idea of the future of technology. a point where they steal a ship to go to the scene of the death of the main character's parents is sketchy in that the security for the ship is just one guy watching a monitor?
and then when they get to the planet and the portal opens, they just let her walk through and no one pulls out any kind of scientific instrument to inspect what the actual portal is.

Not the greatest sci-fi show but still a lot better than Netflix's Another Life.

Amateur-level acting, VFX and musical scoring. Give it a miss.

Well (I'm sure I'll get haters) personally I think this is gonna be yet another great show.

First I thought: "At least it's better than Cleopatra 2525!". Then I thought: "No, Cleopstra 2525 is actually better." Next I thought: "Well, it might get better if I keep watching?" It did not...

It started off sort of interesting, then they ruined it with teenage drama nonsense. I could have tolerated a little but it pretty much drowns any semblance of a sci-fi story they had going.

Such potential in the premise... Such failure in the execution.
Please either blow up the entire pool of writers and recreate or bring this travesty to a merciful end.

Could not make me work nor cold. You did not missed anything when you didn’t watched it. Season 1 was cava... season 2 was pfff meh

I had some hope for the premise of this show based on the previews and I gave it a chance, struggled through the first season, but no more, I just can't do it.
If The Asylum made TV series then this would be it - it is that dire.
I will be actively avoiding future projects by the makers of this, they have made such an impression.

This has been copied from the Sirantha Jax book series.

We had to give it a go just because it is a sci-fi show. But it was almost like a late 60's or early 70's show. Even the first Star Trek series had more going for it. We couldn't get over the characters personalities. A bi sexual holographic android type was too much... Please the writers need better imaginations than the chanters they are writing about.

So despite warnings I powered through the first season and tried to give this series a chance. I was intrigued by the premise of season 1 and hoped with it being renewed for season 2, the actors will try to flesh out their characters and give us another "Dark Matter", "Expanse" or even "Killjoys". Boy was I wrong. Season 2 is a steaming bag of dog poop set on fire (and not in a good way). Sorry but I'm taking it off my list. The actors (except Ben Radcliffe) just don't seem to have their heart on this show and why should I reward mediocre work.

Whew, where do I begin? The acting is pretty subpar for certain characters throughout the show, but there are some characters whose actor's acting wasn't so bad. The CGI during scenes in space is abysmal, like something generated in the 2000s. It's also very fast-paced, and the editing played a part in that, I think. There are probably more issues and such that I noticed throughout watching the show but escape me as I'm writing this. But it was slightly entertaining, I'll admit. And it started to find its footing, more or less, closer to the end. In short, it wasn't great, definitely, but it wasn't bad either. Or rather, THAT bad.
