I am a first day Ozark watcher, this serie is definitely at the top 3 I have ever watched or tried to watch, crazy..
The best season yet, definitely one of the best Netflix Shows. Julia Garner and Laura Linney are exceptional.
Probably the best season so far (I would go 3, 1, 2, I didn't really care about all the political intrigue of season 2). The main cast is stronger than ever, with Laura Linney almost taking over the show with her powerhouse performance. The last two episodes of this season are so tense and an incredible explosion of all that had built up during the season. I'm not sure I like where the show is heading with all the Langmores aligning with Darlene, but I trust the writers enough at this point to know they'll do it right. Add in the cartel's new direction with the finale and we should be in for a great season come 2021.
Holy shit! This season had some great music!! Had some Brujeria, RTJ, Wu-tang Clan. So good. The actual plot itself was pretty focused and was pretty thrilling the whole time. And that end oh my fuck. Despite it being a slow burner on buildup, def one of my favorite seasons of this show.
Solid season with many great moments. The Ben story arc definitely dragged the season down a little though. The acting towards the end of that arc was phenomenal, and it was resolved beautifully, but the lead up was a little tiresome. Even still, Ozark keeps on proving that it's one of the best shows available to watch at this current time.
Weakest season thus far, build up for a somewhat predictable finale. Two filler story lines this season that didn't add to the overall plot, one that completely ruined Ruth as a character, she goes from independent-badass to a hopeless romantic in the first three episodes? Quite a few immersion breaking scenes, I think it's time they end the show, while the finale keeps it open I feel like they've lost their magic and it's getting a little bit lazy and samey.
Fairly perplexed that there are so few people sharing similar opinions.
In my opinion this was the best season yet.
The understatement of the year is to say that Ozark is one of the best shows on Netflix.
if you haven't watch it yet, make sure you to watch it on a lazy day because you won't be able to stop watching it!
I watch 2 season in 2 days and season 3 in a weekend... just Brilliant!!
Jason Bateman is superb and Laura Linney acting is so real but my fav character of all is Ruth Langmore as the actress has done a superb job with the role from season 1... She is just a fire cracker!!
If you haven't watch it yet, you are missing out.
Charlotte’s complete u-turn of involvement absolutely does my tits in!
75 I In season 3, Kansas City Mob threat in the previous season was no longer a problem. Ozark choose to make a time jump when everything was going smoothly for Marty in three months. After the expansion that Wendy did, the thing get wrong easily because more people will be involved but few can be trusted. Wendy did not trust Marty because he undermined her for too long. Marty and Wendy's relationship does not work perfectly just like in season one. Wendy is right about Marty being jealous, but Wendy's greediness is way worse than Marty's jealousy. She becomes selfish and protecting the family is only her second priority after her power hunger. As husband and wife, they both should settle down and find a good way to communicate with each other.
The peacefulness of Ozark is contaminated by Byrde's arrival. Since they got there, things have never gone right in Ozark. In this season finally, there is an FBI agent who is sane and good at her job. Things becoming more unpredictable because of it. Everyone act on impulse and emotion. It becomes a tense season and just too much to watch. From start to the end there is so much pressure, especially for Wendy. She tried whatever she could to win until she had a breakdown. What a brilliant performance by Laura Linney and Tom Pelphrey. They gave such emotional moments, especially in the ninth episode. One of the hardest decisions ever is to protect a family at the cost of someone you love.
Ben was a time bomb for Byrdes. His condition already developed from season 1, when Wendy talked to Marty about Jonah's behavior. Something big going to happen because of Ben. Bipolar is a real deal. It is a huge problem especially if it involves dangerous people such as money launderers and drug cartel lawyers. We kind of see that coming from miles away. When the bomb blew up, we could only pray to God to solve this stuff. Wendy Byrde gave an emotional performance regarding her brother. She love her brother and she did not give up on him. You can't give up on someone you love. That's why Marty should handle it, and help Wendy to decide on Ben's faith. So there would not be an even worse problem.
Ruth is a wild card, not because she wants to but because that's the way she is. She becomes a more loveable character in this season. After her dad no longer exists, she becomes a free and mature woman. Might be there was still a little bit of Langmore there, but its curse slowly disappear. Ruth and Darlene going to be a great duo. Just like Ruth, Darlene's move was smarter than Byrdes because she could act based on violence and Byrdes don't have that. With the friction between Darlene and Byrdes, Ozark wants to make it local versus outsider.
Charlotte behaves better when her parents meet a therapist in an exchange. Jonah seems to hit puberty but he is still quiet and smart. For Wendy she could make a rushed decision if she not playing it right, she is not as scared as Marty to take a risk. But there always be a consequence someday. Anyways, Marty's behavior is very interesting to watch. What a big character development he had in this season. He was acting unpredictably and we could only guess his grand plan. It adds mysteriousness to the story. The table turned, and Wendy is afraid of her husband. It could be a reminder for Wendy to stay back and not to be over-ambitious. She became greedy and forgets who she is, a Navarro's toy.

I put this on pause because the first two episodes were lackluster, but I’m so glad I continued because this may be the best season yet.. even though it’s a bit all over the place at times
The previous seasons were really nice. Unfortunately, in season 3 the writing turned to absolute dogshit. The dialogues between the characters are so cliché, it feels like a 15 year old who first got their hands on a typewriter wrote them. The whole story turned very predictable, yet surprisingly unrealistic. Unfortunate turn of events for a show that had an amazing first season, and a good second one.
The characters are becoming more unbelievable, stories drag on, the women are really really annoying. Helen is not pleasant to watch because the actress is really bad. The cartel is a joke, the head guy is nothing more than a supporting character. So, sadly all in all this is Hollywood cardboard BS. Sad. I liked the first two seasons. This one really not so much.
Actors are great especially Laura Linney her acting is too real, Janet McTeer surprised me, i didnt know she was the mother in Jessica Jones and Jacquetta in the white queen, she is such a great experienced actor!
the script went weird this season especially ruth.. wow an unexpected relationship can drag ruth's iq down so much? she was so clever in previous seasons... and yes i can see ben is gonna die fron the first episode he came out, this character has pulled the whole story back tbh i legit started to play it in the background and go watch something else just to finish it, this season could be way better seriously. -_-
at least darlene made this season less painful to watch, shes badass af.

Season 3 is just as good as the first 2 seasons. Looks like we're going to be getting a season 4 based on the final scene at the end of episode 10 (didn't see that coming!!). Yeah!!
