75 | The quality of episode one comes back. Almost every dialogue was significant for the story and the character development. There was no small talk or unnecessary scenes, every minute of this episode was worth it. Mason and Jacob's interaction was the most poetic moment in this season so far. We could see it as a devil who ironically tried to lure a human to preach about the religion he believed in order to sell drugs. Heroin in the bible? If we really think about it, it was pretty symbolic.

mmmmmkeeyyyyyyyyyy was ok not less not more
Logical inconsistencies wrapped up in more momentum. I am almost questioning as to whether or not this is supposed to be a little funny?
I think the show expanded a little too quickly. The sort of complex character dynamics that are on display here need a lot of time to land, but when there are so many characters you either have several episodes that are extremely slow or you lose a lot of the arcs to get us to the ending points. We could have greatly benefitted from not introducing a lot of the supporting cast until much later. As it stands now, there's interesting stuff that happens alongside a bunch of other things that I'm kind of getting wrapped up in what's going on. Would have much rather had some more time exploring the main cast as opposed to seeing the pastor go off on his own.
Also: macs don't have view counts on video files lol.

Gotta give it points for opening all the lies and throwing them on the table for all to ponder over. It's rare for TV to solve dilemmas like these with actual honesty instead of added melodramatic conceits.
Shame the rest of the episode is full of melodrama of a different kind (traffic accidents, missing kids, drowning).
