Definitely glad this one is over.
I didn't enjoy this dark episode.
This episode felt a bit like a horror story, in order to help indentured brothers Jamie and Claire go to a really creepy house where a lot of evil things have happened. Claire's willingness to help the man even though she knows he is a monster is quite moving. She has a great vocation as a doctor.
The scene with Claire giving lessons to Marsali at the beginning was quite enjoyable. Marsali is showing herself to be a clever and capable student.
My mother had a fatal stroke recently. This episode may have been good, but it was salt in an open wound to watch. I don't think I'll ever watch this episode again.

That was a great episode!
There were moments I got shocked because I wasn't expecting. One of them was when Claire found the man rotting on the floor, and in the next minute she was delivering this man’s wife’s baby. So many things going on! But I loved it!
The direction was also great.
The photography... the scene after Jamie has killed the guy and the birds have gotten out of the trees was beautiful!
Can’t wait for next week!
