Good episode. Probably the best this season. Would rate it higher if the rest of the season hadn’t been such a drag. That lessened some of the emotional impact here.
It would have been such a bitter-sweet episode had it not been for the ending when Claire is kidnapped. At last something positive happened on Outlander when Bree and Roger discovered that Jemmy can travel through time. It was sad that Bree had to leave her parents possibly never to see them again, but as Bree and Roger had been worried that Jemmy might not be able to travel, it was a positive event which is really rare on Outlander, something to be valued. All the goodbyes were quite moving, I was not a fan of Lizzie but Brianna's farewell with her was kinda touching. Lord John and Bree are great together, John can always make her smile. It is a pity Bree will never meet her half-brother William. The last scene with Bree, Roger and Jemmy really emphasises their love in their little family, after all, they have to give Claire and Jamie up so that Jemmy would have a better life in the 20th century.
I wish the episode ended with Bree's nuclear family passing through the stones, then it would have this unified, bitter-sweet atmosphere and feel to it, which was radically changed by the assault on Claire and the dramatic ending. I hope Marsali would survive as she is one of my favourite supporting characters. Though she might be badly wounded and there is no Claire to help her now.
Two weeks to get to the stones! It was a shame Ian couldn't come. Glad that Marsali is not dead, that would have been too sad if she was. What's happened to the future?

Let me start by just saying this: WOW!
This episode got me like no other. It started with a very sad scene, a burned girl found by Roger and Jaime and her suffering. It’s heartbreaking. And I’m not even mentioning the fact that Roger had to took her life in order to help the poor girl. Then we had John saying he was leaving to England, Bree and Roger leaving to the future, Ian wanting to go with them... I thought I wasn’t gonna have a moment to breath normally, but then Jaime and Claire made love. And it was so sexy. I guess we were kinda missing this. And shortly afterwards Jaime saw his seeds for the first time in a microscope. It was funny.
One scene that I almost cried was when Bree told John she knew she has a brother and that he’s lucky to have John as his father. It was so emotional. Then he said a sentence that I’ll never forget: “You really are impossible not to like”. And he’s right. As Lizzie said it soon after, Brianna is a brave woman. She grew up a lot this season. I love her.
The moment Bree, Roger and their son touched the stone I was shocked. I never thought they could really pass through it, but they did, and poor Ian... He thought he could have a chance as well. But where the hell have they gone to?
And what about that ending? Gosh, I was suffering with Claire, helpless, claiming for Jaime and he was not even close to hear her. I just hope he could save her as soon as possible - preferentially next episode - because I can’t wait more than a year to know what would happen to her on season six.
