The tone of this episode was just a little to dreary for me.

I have so many questions!!! Ok if Brianna marries Lord John and Roger actually comes back, they will be unable to be together, right? There’s no divorce I imagine, so what, are we going to kill Lord John? Or are they going to have to be together in secrecy? I WOULD LIKE SOME ANSWERS.

Also, how does it work with the child? It’s going to be born right after their wedding so everyone will know it’s not Lord John’s son. What happens? It’s not considered a bastard just because it is born in wedlock even though everybody knows that is from another man?

And what about that first scene of Roger in a shower?? Why are they playing with our feelings this way?? Is the baby going to be able to cross in time as well?? Are they going to stay in the past? More importantly: IS EVERYONE GOING TO DIE IN A FIRE?

Can’t wait for the next episode.

  • Marsali is turning into a more interesting character
  • I'm worried about Murtagh, since he got arrested
  • Brianna proposes to Lord John, having discovered him with a lover; he first disagrees than decides to save her from the marriage with the Forbes guy; it is a bit unclear what Brianna wants to achieve by this marriage, if she marries John, she would not be able to be with Roger later on, and I guess she cannot have the marriage annulled on the grounds it was not consumed because it would declare her child a bastard? Maybe she is simply playing for time? Lord John does give her a bit of hope, though, and her spirits improve after the marriage announcement.
  • Clair finally forgives Jamie for what happened, it is good to see them in love again. It is a pity there was so little of them both in the episode.
  • I had to deduct stars because of the homosexual scene, it did not have to be shown so graphically.

Does anyone think the future first POTUS will be in trouble later on?
