Oh, I'd missed this show!!
I love how season after season the intro song changes slightly. The lady that sings it has a very beautiful voice.
This episode's cinematography and music were so good!! Especially the contradictory warm glow of that scene when Randall and Jamie see each other and when Jamie hallucinated Claire walking through the battlefield in the snow.
It pissed me off how every man was apparently a misogynistic pig in the 40's/50's. They totally deserved to have ashtrays thrown at their heads. Condescending a-holes.
I'm excited to see where this season will take us! I can't wait for Claire and Jamie to be reunited.
The nurse at the end:woman_facepalming_tone2::woman_facepalming_tone2:
Everybody acting like two brown-haired people couldn’t possibly have a red-haired child
Who else wanted to slap the nurse at the end? Raise your hand.
Glad Outlander is finally back, but I didn't really enjoy this episode.
"Where'd she get the red hair?"
An awkward situation no man wants to be in
That mic drop at the end.
Poor Frank... I wonder what will happen next .. excited for this season
A little slow to start but brilliantly acted.

Quite a nice episode, the scenes with Jamie on the battlefield were a bit poetic, it is good that they showed fragments of the battle because I was a bit disappointed that the battle to which all was building up was not shown in the last episode of Season 2.
Frank genuinely tries to show affection to Claire and it looks like he really loves Claire. Though she feels a bit stifled in the 20th century America, where she is relegated to the role of a housewife, whereas with Jamie she could almost influence history. In some ways Claire's 18th century husband turns out to be more progressive and less misoginistic that American university dons.
