Bat shit crazy stupid show. Deadly slow part musical. Wasted my time watching all 8 episodes just Hopeing for something. No way do i see this series being renewed
this serie was pretty good at the beginning.. but from episode 3 the downfall has been even greater lol... "sadly"
Got worst with each episode. :weary:
Take one part Yellowstone, one part Stranger Things, one part Dark and pour liberally from all the weirdness in Twin Peaks and you pretty much get this.
Even though it got a bit too weird for me I don't think I can stay away from season 2.
A waste of time. A bad joke with a terrible plot and story.
Not a bad show, but nothing great about it either.
Do not expect sci-fi though. It's mostly a family drama with elements of cosmic horror and social critique on toxic masculinity, greed, overexploitation of natural resources, religiosity, traditionalism and gun violence.
Interesting idea but I did not think the plot was well crafted. Too many incoherences or missing parts to completely get into the story. Otherwise well acted
Wow!
I know it's lazy and not good writing to sum up a story with the exclamation, "wow!", but that's all I can say about Outer Range and do it justice, without watering it down.
Outer Ranger is a science fiction show, sure. That's one side of it, certainly not its primary side.
Outer Range is a show about the darkness that lurks inside all of us. That darkness shapes our lives despite our best efforts to tamp it down and not let it influence our actions and motivations. But it does, even if oh so gently. And to me, that's what this show was mainly about. The influence of this darkness in our actions and desires. How it can lead to outcomes previously considered unthinkable or plain wrong;.
It's a show about time, family, conflict, and the transcendental object at the end of time that's approaching our unsuspecting and unprepared little planet at light speed. This show is about that too. About an enigma. A phenomenon that is completely beyond our petty human comprehension. We need to get ready to face it, and I hope we do it better than the characters in this show did, but I fear we're all too human to be much better than a small combined, concerted effort by a collective of humans, instead of individuals.
As per usual, in the tradition of american mysteries tv shows, the main plot line is bogged down by uninteresting and boring family drama. The main mystery is still interesting enough that i'll probably watch till the end.
Good show, but you can only watch it in the dark. :joy:
Already know I'm gonna love this. Weird strange shows like this always gets a thumbs up from me.
Royal's prayer in episode 2 is damnit cathartic
A truly amazing series, a dark atmosphere and a mythical representation by all the actors, a new and uninhibited story, and we will contemplate stronger episodes in the coming days. I advise everyone to follow it without hesitation :type_1_2::fire:
Not got a clue what’s going on :joy::joy:
Omg it was a good TV show!!! But it was a slow start at first, but other episodes are good. I love it!!!
What I find disturbing is the kissing with tongue and saliva, so disgusting I almost threw up lol
You have been warned!!!
Awesome show... Is season 2 coming?
First episode was decent and had potential to be an interesting show, but sadly all the other episodes were boring as hell.
They should have cleared things up earlier than 7th episode, it's too boring. Before that it's just too much family drama with a mystery hole in the ground. Suspense is just not there, it's not even weird. I think it's the music that's totally wrong, cause acting is good, cinematography is also good. Not sure if I'll be watching series 2.
Not very original script but well adapted, achieving a fairly good modern scifi/western fusion. Excellent cast and photography. I'd give it an 8 or 9 if it wasn't for how slow it is in terms of coming up with a scifi theme. The typical series that could be excellent becomes normal for the desire to divide it into as many seasons as possible.
[Prime Video] Beyond a simple referential proposal it subverts the elements of the western to also subvert some characteristics of science-fiction, and turns the traditional lone ranger into a kind of cosmic wanderer. This existentialist neo-western benefits from the direction of the Mexican Alonso Ruizpalacios in the first two episodes. And concludes by offering so many answers that new questions are raised.
:heart:x7
Wasn't too sure about this show at first. It starts out as a bit of a cowboy/sci-fi/mystery/thriller but soon morphs into much more. Secrets upon secrets and plenty of mystery which will continue in future seasons (if it doesn't get canceled that is). The only problem is that as episode 10 closed out season 1 - i was left wanting more - NOW.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
The Cowboy version of Dark. Loved it!

I'm having a hard time getting into this show, the cast is good and the acting is mostly good (mostly) but it doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm going to stay tuned for a while to see where it goes, but so far I could take it or leave it.
