It's not until we go back to the pilot where you realise what a collection of indepth characters are displayed in this show. For now, we obviously focus on Piper, the protagonist, with the present plot being her self-surrendering and flashbacks piecing a basic explanation into why she's going to prison. This flashback structure works phenomenally throughout the seasons. Piper's first mistake shows us how fragile a sense of security is in Litchfield, and I can't wait to get stuck in again!
