When you see previous chapters of the anime one piece it's usually the emotional scenes because that's where this anime stands out the most, I wish these live action scenes had this level of empatia that the actress from nami gave us in this episode.
I liked it very much, see this ep more times in the future.

Beautiful episode. The woman who plays Nami is a very good actress.

Everyone say thank you to Emily Rudd.

I think it's alright the Netflix version is making minor changes. Let it fix some of the storytelling of the age old manga chapters. The impact of this episode is just as nice.

The final scene with Nami was done well. Finally some emotions!

THEY'VE CHANGED THE STORY SO MUCH ESPECIALLY NAMI'S BACKSTORY. DISGUSTING but otherwise emily rudd's acting and cinematography is the highlight 4/10

out of all the straw hats Emily nailed it with her emotional scene as Nami.. amazing performance and was actually very faithful to the original materials

Good episode and ending promises an exciting finale, but find the episodes maybe a bit too long.

  • I always thought it was stupid that Bell-mere didn't just say she was gonna have 2 guests over instead of confessing about Nami and Nojiko.
  • JINBEI MENTION!

Nami's backstory. Well done. Though why doesn't she defend her stash at all ? It's not like we've never seen her fight.

Arlong is not as scary as he should be, but probably hard to pull. Better than the other fishmen who seem to have a frozen face.

Luffy's final pose is just ridiculous.

Weak sauce… in episode one she defeats lots of marines with just a stick, in this episode two marines grab and take her without even a fight.

As usual Nami stood out with her performance. Luffy still falls short of being the main character or making me believe why everyone is following him. Zoro's one edgy dimensionality is more evident with the delight that Sanji brings. Many dialogues and sequences felt very forced and unnatural. 6.5/10
