Ok, but loophole: what if no one charges their phones, or better yet, they all chuck them into the pool? Does everyone die then since they refuse to play?
The lack of internet, phone reception and out of service landline were made explicit to isolate the kids, but a phone game can't be carried on without phones. I hope that glaring detail is addressed.
