Night Court 2023

Dry and dull with actors just going through the motions to a laugh track.

Not so funny, no chemistry among starters, a hard pass.

10 Episodes in and I'm wondering why I'm still here.

Melissa Raunch and John Larroquette are solid actors, but even they can't save this show.

Admittedly, I'm a Brit and American humour is very hit-and-miss with me... but I've genuinely struggled to find anywhere to laugh in this show.

I think this is the first time I've "met" Lacretta and at this point, I'm hoping it'll be the last. Not a great actor and sticks out like a sore thumb... that said, the same could be said of India de Beaufort. I have a feeling she may have taken the comedic role to challenge herself, but it just doesn't work for me.

TL:DR - Not funny. Average-At-Best Performances. No Chemistry.

This is really bad, but I keep watching it because India is nice to look at.

Sadly, I have to agree with the higher-ranked comments here. This show is missing a lot. I had high hopes for the reboot of this show. It's only ok - it's nostalgic but that's about all it has going for it. What's missing is the whimsy, charm, chemistry between the cast, and overall fun of the original.

4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too
9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!

:disappointed: just seeing this makes me wanna cry. You can't just replace Harry Anderson with some actress from Big Bang Theory, and think it's going to work.

I love every one else from this show, but without Harry, who is the HEART and SOUL, you can't just do this. People need to stop bringing back shows from the dead, or remaking them when they have no business doing so. GET NEW IDEAS.

These actors from the original show are awesome and deserve to be on TV, I would love to see them more in other things. Any day.

A great series for actors coming into prime time tv, but John Larroquette doesn’t come close to his Boston Legal performance and when you put it into perspective it cannot come close!
