What a ridiculous Helen storyline. Cops wouldn't have shown up to instantly arrest anyone. In reality there would be a long drawn out legal process of hearings and appeals lasting months if not years... really hating this whole NHS baaaaad theme that has no basis in reality.

I do understand that doctors save lives... but honestly, they should fight for their patients, not for their patient's parents who clearly weren't thinking straight (I mean who would in such a situation?). And interfering in a situation where she had no prior knowledge??? And Helen's "Oh I'm going to take them to the US"... sorry, but WTF? Since when's running away a solution for serious problems such as the one they faced here? Not sure if she didn't make the situation worse with her actions for all around, including the parents (and the child who could have slipped away, instead was intubated and on a machine keeping him alive which then had to be turned off...).
I realize there's no winner here... but Helen's definitely not acting for the benefit of that family, but out of her own ideas about family and wishes for a child.
