This season was quite the disaster. The whole battle with Fuentes which left Max with nothing to do for most of this season... And I actually liked Fuentes - well, not her character but Forbes brought her to life, she was more vivacious than the whole rest of the cast, mired in their personal little dramas as they all were.
Most of the characters took a turn for the worse: Iggy, Reynolds, the exception's Lauren.
But honestly, what I'm missing are the cases, the heart that goes out to the patients... there was virtually none of that in this season. Instead we got dealt lots of soap-operaish drama. That's not the New Amsterdam I instantly loved in season 1. Let's hope they'll decide to go out with a bang in season 5, not fizzle out like they did for the last 2 seasons.

Despite so many comments around here (and I am glad I ignored them), the season didn't seem to me political at all. I'am glad I watched it and I'm looking forward to the next season.
