Devi is such an unlikable character
Okay this is fun! The writing is witty, the narrator is funny and Devi is a very entertaining and interesting protagonist so far.
My only complaint is that I think Devi's friends seem to be too over the top and quirky to really take them serious as characters (but there's still plenty of time to prove me wrong).
The writting was top trash! How can we like this show with a whole cast of unlikeable characters and McEnroe as the narator ugh no thanks.
Rewatching this and I forgot Niecy Nash was in it. You really can just slip her into anything. She will carve out a space for herself. But yeah this is a charming pilot.

So, another generic "high-school" teen drama, where once again a girl's own self-worth is based on her having had sex or not ?
Little disappointed. Maybe they'll make that become a "moral of the story" by the end.
I'll give it a few more episodes.
