Pretty good but slow start. It didnt even cover the first chapter of manga. Shame its only 13 episodes :/
This was a pretty solid and fun introduction into the world of "My Hero Academia". I particularly liked how well Izuku's past was fleshed out here. While it did start pretty slow (I've heard the same thing about the manga), I'm excited to see what BONES will do with the material here. The quirky art definitely grew on me as I watched this episode (especially after dat fanservice "ass"). I'm really looking forward to what next week will bring.
And here we go!!!!!!!! This anime has been in my watch list forever. Im pretty hooked so far. The characters, the world setting, the flashbacks (sucker for those).

I heard the manga isn't that bad but this was a slow paint-by-numbers deal that didn't draw me in. Not a fan of the world building considering everything looks normal despite having 90% of people getting super powers... It will also be as extreme of an underdog story SJ can think off. Why BONES is doing this for 13 episodes I dunno.
