This anime will have you hooked. Watched the first one and got obsessed. Finished 2 seasons in 2 days. Anyone who is interested in the dub check out FUNimation Now. Their dub was pretty solid.
I love this show. This is the show that got me into a lot of animes. This is as perfect as a show you can get.
One of the best new anime out there. Exciting and colorful, a story with a lot of different characters with unusual powers and that one main character for you to root for.
Glad that this Anime is still going strong. Such a fun setting with all the creative superpowers and they keep smoothing out each plot arc nicely.
This series is a must see for both anime fans and fans of traditional western superhero comics. My Hero Academia expertly plays with the tropes present in both superhero comics and shounen anime/manga and expertly blends them together for a well executed and thrilling series. If you're skeptical of anime, but enjoy DC/Marvel comics I would urge you to at least give this show a try.
Wee bit to early to fully judge this show, and there are a few cliches, but as a whole this show is a spectacular shonen with emotional moments and excellent pacing.

I meant to check out the manga a while ago but never got around to it. Despite the weird fact that this was initially just announced as 13 episode deal I still opted for the anime and if it wasn't for that limitation it would actually have been a solid "shounen" package.
The show is pretty standard WSJ fare with inspiration taken from US comics. This doesn't mean that it's bad but the pacing didn't feel great. The episodes are padded with flash backs and other means to pretty much end in a decent spot after those 13 episodes.
I'll probably continue my plan to just pick up the manga someday but I'm not in a hurry for that.
I can’t diss it too much, since it was one of my first anime. It’s pretty solid, though some arcs kind of drag, and at some points the story feels a bit cobbled together. Overall, it’s fun though.
season 6 is becoming worse and worse. removing from my favorite list.

This one is a weird recommendation for me despite having it listed as a "good" show. On one hand, the first three seasons are really good and pretty interesting, full of both humor and drama while keeping the hype at a high level. Then the fourth season has a rocky road of high quality and some atrocious slow moments. However, the fifth season is just plain boring. And then this show turns everything around with its latest season! This show is facing an issue right now where it feels like it is being milked, yet it's seemingly trying to break out of its own cliches. The original joy of watching left but is starting to return a bit. I'm actually excited for the seventh season to see if this one has the ability to end its storyline without more filler, but I'm worried since this has happened before for the show over multiple story arcs and seasons. Still, it has some really cool action pieces, a decently imaginative world, and enough quirky characters to hold your attention before it starts to rest on its laurels, and things are once again looking bright for MHA as it enters its most serious story arc yet.

genuinely love this show so much, I love the characters and the development they all go through, and the art style is amazing. can't wait for the next season
please keep the overall episode number in the name like you did before. It's easiar to know where I stopped like that than by season
Nothing new under the sun, the typical Shōnen : girls are useless, no LGBTQI+ main characters... And, each episode start with more than 3:30 recap (+intro), so minus the ending, each episode is less than 15 minutes.
So far the plot isn't very imaginative, and most of the characters aren't very complex. Bakugo was probably the only one with a surprising twist.
The quirks and fights can be creative and fun, and if that's all you want this show is pretty good. If you want more then you can probably do better, like Vinland Saga.

This anime season has been a off to a fantastic start and this is one of the shows at the top of the list. People with unique and odd powers, and a school for heroes. The show is filled with lots of colorful characters, and intriguing ones too who you wonder what they are capable of. A great story, fantastic characters, and the one hero you have to rout for! Lots of action mixed in with the right amount of comedy! A great anime which looks to be an epic one!
