A fun, slower-paced episode, as we watch Dead End settle into the Doldia village during the rainy season. I liked seeing the friendship that fostered between Tona and Eris, as she took lessons she learned from Ghislaine to teach her about sword-fighting, which gave Tona a connection to her absent Aunt.

Speaking of Ghislaine, It was heart-warming seeing how defensive Eris was of her when Ghislaine's brother started bad-mouthing Ghislaine for "abandoning her sacred duty," it showed just how much Eris cares for her now. Also, I'm glad this episode expanded more on Ghislaine's character, with it highlighting how much she's improved as a person, with her going from the rowdy stubborn girl to someone who'd sacrifice her life to protect those she cares about, and whose actively learning other skills than sword fighting so she can be an asset to others in more ways.

I'm glad the dog and gambler joined the crew too, I'm looking forward to how they'll aid the main cast. And I hope one day Ghislaine will be able to make up with her brother after their relationship fell apart, with her brother now understanding the kind of person she became on her own.
