Murderville 2022

Great concept, not the best execution. Sill laughed tho. Hope they fix some of the flaws and come back for season 2

I really like the concept of this show and am hoping they renew it for season two. It's great that they just put the guest stars in the scenes without any preparation or script and they just have to wing it. Some do better than others, of course but I think this is still worth the watch. Just seeing how confused the guests are is reason enough. Sharon Stone's episode is the best of season one as she picks up right away and fully commits, with the end result being great. I actually laughed out loud when she grabbed the dead mans nipples that even he started snickering; and also when she did a great german accent.

:heart:x7
This is a lot of fun - the celebrity guest is thrown into a scenario without a script and they have to improvise their way thru each scene. Quite a fun concept and fairly well executed.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

I loved the concept. I had not seen the British version so nothing to compare against, but I am a solid fan of people breaking character on-screen in a comedy/sketch piece and just having a good time.

So this is pretty much the premise I wanted. Conan and Kumail really had fun on screen. The improv was really good. Kudos to Will Arnett. When you know the other person has no clue of the script and can take the conversation anywhere, it can be stressful to keep a check on proceedings, have your bearings and keep the humour alive. Will handled all this brilliantly. Even Will broke character at times to have some fun. These moments are truly infectious. It is like seeing the blooper reels when the credits roll.
Not all episodes were entertaining. Annie Murphy took it far too seriously. And what is up with only the second always being the murderer?

Overall, fun and of optimum length. 6 episodes with half an hour each is a good run for a season of this kind. Recommended for a casual watch.

Interesting concept - the guest doesn't get a script but they have to solve the crime.

Might now be for everyone, but I'm enjoying it.
8.5/10

i don´t think a lot of people appreciate what this show tries to be. I do.

So it's another American version of a British show - Murder in successville. Let's see if it's as good.

Man. I thought it was kind of funny.... Then I saw the original British show it was based on, " Murder in Successville" and I guess I just dont understand why they would remove so many funny comedy vehicles in the show. It's really too bad. This had the potential to be hilarious if they did it right - but they couldn't even do some of the funniest things, like the fact all the characters in the city are celebrities & the actors playing them are terrible. I dont know - i loved the guests in this, especially Kumail, and Dr Ken Jeong. They were funny af. But when aren't they? We'll see if they order more episodes and it becomes any better.

Also Will Arnett is just... Not right for the role. Could be the fact the show is just missing the original star in general, but also him. I love Will, dont get me wrong, but this does not work. It's a skeleton - missing the meat of the show. :person_shrugging:♂

The truth is I'm not going to do anything interesting... it's like an imitation of Brooklyn Nine-Nine
