Lame season starter. Aside from small chuckles with Cam's family, which was cliched to begin with, none of the elements worked and all of them felt recycled.

Yep, this show has jumped the shark. Like Big Bang Theory it's just going through the motions now and will eventually come to and end where people say it should have ended 4 years ago. Same thing happened to How I met your mother, Two and a Half Men, The Office and dozens of other comedies that have overstayed their welcome. I'm baffled how showrunners constantly move away from what works, try new angles, which don't work and just watch their show nosedive until the only option left is to cancel it. Bummer. Modern Family in its first two or three seasons used the best comedy on network TV. Now it's barely average.

Not an impressive way to start a new season but I'm very fond of this show so I'm just going to give it more chances.
I don't really know what to think... it wasn't as good as others but well it's season 8 I guess you can't expect much
