This young show's strength continues to lie in the characters while the scripts and story arcs continue to be weak and uninspired.

Agree with all the comments so far. This episode is the weakest. After building up this enigmatic and powerful Hightower ppl expected and very tough and interesting encounter that could last probably a few episode. But what we get is basically a normal thug that commits suicide in the end. One can wonder why manfred was so afraid. He could just have hired another thug to kill this hightower and save himself more money sheesh. Hope next few episodes goes back to the right track :-)

Anticlimactic... the writers try to cramp too much in one episode and you end up with a mess. Dude been following the psychic for ages yet this is all you get???? some bullshit glass levitation and then meh... just a bit amateur if you ask me.
And you got a witch with a talking cat that can crush a car with her mind but manages to get abducted like that snaps fingers
And while on topic, that tall lump of dark chocolate has got to be the most boring vampire of all times.
I really hope these writers get it together...or at least read reviews in order to improve. Otherwise I don't see a second season in this show's future.
