[7.0/10] Coming to these after I’ve watched 40+ episodes of the main series is kind of a trip. It more or less proves that this show didn’t really need to do an origin story, but I at least appreciate this one underscoring Pete’s nerdy bona fides and emphasizing the random chance that made him Spider-Man. The idea that for want of a nail, it could have been Harry Osborn or Alistair Smythe or Liz Allen as Spider-Man is a neat one, and there’s some cool animation on Spidey’s bite and freak out.
Overall, kind of unnecessary, but solid for what it is.
