I like Nadeem so much, great character. I just can't believe the three friends are together again, I don't want to trust that it's gonna last just in case
A set-up for a surely fantastic closing two episodes.
The season continues to jump from 7/10s to 9/10s, because of the set-up followed by the climax pattern. Not that I have a problem with this style, it's just something worth knowing/recognizing.
The highlight of this episode, for me, was the reunion between Matt, Karen and Foggy. It was a delightful moment and is the scene the title is referencing. Other great scenes include Matt and Karen hiding from the dangerous FBI, with help from sister Maggie (Matt's mother). Speaking of her, I really felt that moment when she finds out father Lantom was dead. I really love what this season has done with those two characters and the themes or morality and religion. Dex is trying his best to control his rage with the advice he received from Fisk: letting a "primal scream" out, however Fisk has other plans, releasing his rage on other people, like the scene where he beats a man to death after receiving news about Nadeem turning on him. That seemed to be a subtle way to show Fisk is back to his season 1 self.
The final few minutes involving Nadeem protecting his family from Fisk are extremely strong, and almost make it criminal to stop watching... so here I go, the last two episodes!
Wish me luck.
I'm glad Dex didn't get aways with it. Fuck that guy.
Fisk is sick, he killed that man only because he was angry.
I'm glad Nadeen started to help Matt, it was about time.
Good episode but something is bugging me. Daredevil and Dex fight hard hitting eachother in the face but few minutes later none of them got any scrapes. Wiping of the blood makes all the bruises and scratches disappear!
matt taking off his mask to reveal his identity to nadeem as a form of trust made me implode then explode then shatter again into a thousand bits because HOLY GOD!
With all the comics shows trying to be more realistic these days, there are some stuff that fell terribly forced and cliché. Yeah the whole thing is about Matt struggling with being a devil and his past idealistic self that wanted to fight with the law. But Foggy speech is just too much. No one is over the law ? Come on ! It is painfully clear these days that this is not the case, and by design. And nobody who works with the law can say that with a straight face. It's literally his job to use the law so that his clients do not face consequences. That's really too much bullshit.
Nadeem still tries to be a good guy, though with all he's let happen before that, how is he gonna deal with his conscience ?
A bit of the old Fisk there when he just flatten a guy's face to pass his rage. But also too much of it with the bullshit politics, when he has regained his power and manipulates the media to pass for a victim while Daredevil is the bad guy. This is why I was disappointed to see he was back in this season.
All the people are here, picketing in from the hotel to ask for him to go back to prison. He goes out, speak two minutes, and everybody is like "wow, so Daredevil is actually the bad guy". Instant brainwashing. Nobody remembers anything Daredevil or FIsk did before this speech. So shitty and boring.
holy shit this was the best episode of the season
I can't fkn stop watching it, that is a very amazing season tbh, especially those episodes XD
My question is where is Jessica Jones? Has the Punisher heard about Karen?
Was worried I wouldn't get another, "nine..." I'd -- not become numb, but.... Anyway, when the meanings are big enough the dopamine crystalizes into a human experience that transcends, "great," and cascades into, "superb."
Still human I guess...so exquisite.
All the chips are in motion
Matt wakes up and tells Karen who the man in the suit is. Dex meets with Ray and takes off the Daredevil costume and meets with police by the church. The FBI go in and search for Daredevil and Karen but can't find them hiding in a stone coffin. Karen confesses to Matt about her brother's past and how she killed Fisk's friend. Fisk, now a free man, announces to the public that Daredevil is the new villian in the city and must be stopped. Matt gets a hold of Foggy and asks him to come to the church. Matt escapes and Karen surrenders herself to the NYPD as a suspect for murder under state law which prevents Ray, Dex and the rest of the FBI from taking her. Fisk speaks with the woman who now owns one of his paintings and learns the hardship she's faced over the years. Dex realizes that Matt escaped from right under his nose. The NYPD lets Karen go free and she, with Foggy, meet with Matt. Ray heads home to get his wife and son and leave but they are attacked before they can leave. Matt shows up in time to save Ray and even though Ray doesn't trust the real Daredevil, Matt thanks Ray for saving Karen and in return reveals his true identity.

Sister Maggie and Nadeem are the true heroes and stars of this episode, let's be honest. If something happens to them or his precious family and they don't survive the season I WILL FLIP.
