This show is SO much better when I skip through (a) any scenes between Michaela and a boytoy and (b) any of the cult scenes and (c) any scenes between Grace and Prince Charming.
In this one, the campus stuff tying Ben's new job to Grace's unfriendly new friend was an interesting twist, but the best part of all was Saanvi -- easily my favorite character -- coming through in the end and being AMAZING in her detective and spy work. Great stuff, writers! In the end, there was an impressive amount of plot advancement in this one -- almost enough to make me forget how annoying Michaela's boyfriends are.
Olive going to that church is stupid, she knows 828 wasn’t a miracle.
Grace’s callings are lame.
Jared is so toxic and annoying, saying he blew up his life for her, when he was the one who rebounded with his deceased girlfriend’s best friend, and then cheated on Lourdes, and then he manipulated Michaela to not tell Lourdes and to be okay with being the side chick, and then he became possessive of her and was about to off Zeke. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the one who actually shot her. And of course now he’s an extremist and a hater. I want him gone.
Great job Sannvi :clap_tone3: only one there not making dumb decisions
An all-around good episode. It was the best episode out of all three, definitely, so far. Michaela threw Jared under the bus, and rightfully so, all while managing to get Zeke out of jail. In response, he goes crawling to a bar to drown in his sorrows of defeat, a bar that seems to be occupied by X'ers. He's probably going to attempt proving his worth and impress Machaela by embedding himself among them, then taking them down from the inside. The bartender must be Tamara, played by Leah Gibson. I remember reading information about her on a Deadline's article stating she had been cast and will play a recurring character by that name, "the alluring and street smart bartender of an X’er hangout." In that same article, Carl Lundstedt was also mentioned to have a recurring role as "Billy, Tamara’s protective and hot-headed brother." I wonder if that character was who Jared exchanged a few words with. I failed to notice whether or not he was Carl. And on another side of things, Saanvi set a trap for The Major, whose name we learned to be Kathryn Fitz, and it worked out, splendidly. She managed to fool us, the audience, into thinking that she was still going to be a little naive and vulnerable, as well as turning the tables, at the same time. Yes, she does make a better spy than Ben. I honestly don't get why he seemingly overreacts at everything. It's a little jarring. Speaking of Ben, we learned that Simon, one of the professors(?), is the apparent husband of Erika, the pregnant woman that has prejudice and discrimination towards 828ers that was a little too obvious with her bigotry when talking to Grace, calling Cal an abomination, and saying to Grace that she hopes her baby dies/she loses her baby. Both she and her husband are X'ers, I'm guessing. Another thing, I like the chess game that's going on between The Major, Robert Vance, and the 828ers. What I like even more is how they're both one-upping each other. Now, Robert and the 828ers know the Major's true identity. It's a constant back and forth. At the same time, while they're in the lead against her, for now, the X'ers are closing in on Ben, and possibly other 828ers. Meanwhile, with Olive, she's feeling left out, even more so, and now she's "a Believer." I wonder if she'll be exploited by them. That seems like that obvious conclusion. But what for? Lastly, Michaela and Saanvi were the MVPs of this episode. Put some respect on their names.
Maybe the returned are not as stupid as I thought. The copper is gonna be a problem.

Michaela could have even thrown Jared under the bus more. She also told him to back off like 20 times. Now Jared will probably befriend 828 passenger haters and become a member of a hate group.
