Very sad this show has ended (during my complete run of it ofcourse), especially seeing all characters' stories have pretty much been tied up and the post credits scene where he turns off the TV.
In a more perfect world the idea of having the new Magnum PI be his daughter Lily following in her father's footsteps would have been greenlit and we'd have at least the possibilities of cameo's and continuations where possible. She'd ofcourse insist on driving the Ferarri and jokes about it breaking down all the time would ensue. Unfortunately they decided on a more uninspired take of things so I'll be left cherishing the 8 seasons that were, vehemently trying to forget the reboot ever was made.
