• This includes African/black people descended from Canada and the United States. I can't in good conscience include the rest of the Americas since like 90% of this list includes US citizens.

• In an attempt to sort my ethnicity/race lists better, I've created separate lists for African-Canadians/USians, Afro-Caribbean people, and indigenous/minority African people, all listed below.

• I know that Africans have a complicated history, especially when it comes to genealogy/heritage, but hopefully this decision is more helpful than having a catch-all list for everybody. Let me know if I've made any mistakes!

Very common in US shows, and you can't always assume that surname = ethnicity/race/nationality because of adoption, name changes, etc. Also includes fantasy white people that exist in a world without Europe. WIP.

Includes magical humans/humanoids that aren't quite monsters, aliens/anthros/monsters get their own list. Excludes humanoids who are non-magical but use a magical item. That means Harry Potter characters would be included, but not a normal person who uses a genie's lamp. I'm always open to recommendations!
