The adventures of my favorite fictional Angus was a staple of the 80s and early 90s. Holds up exceptionally well. Can't speak for the remake as I've never seen an episode of it
the theme music was lit too
Haha, I didn't realize just how good this show was until I watch it as an adult, and understanding the jokes.
I remember seeing some MacGyver when it originally aired on TV back in the early 90s. I always admired the concept and how Angus somehow always managed to escape any situation. I only just now realized that the series started in 1985 (my year!) so now I'm on the verge of going through the entire series. Now I see why Patty & Selma (The Simpsons) are such hardcore MacGyver fans.
Yep, still pretty much awesome + great opening theme.
This show was hugely influential to me growing up. I owe a lot of my interest is science, chemistry, engineering and Swiss Army knives to this show. I wanted to be just like MacGyver. I still watch it occasionally today, and it still holds up.
Far-fetched hero who always manage to get out of trouble with his homemade gadgets from stuff he just happen to find at the most convient places. It is hard to care as every single episode are just the same episode rewritten again and again so I gave up on it even if it is hard not to love hockey-haired Richard Dean Anderson. Memorable theme melody though, but that ain't enough to give it even five stars. Too dated now.
@frozenbubble Please stop asking for remakes. Why would you want the same thing over again when the original is already perfect. A continuation of the series is a better idea, which is why the new series coming to CBS later this month is a prequel telling of a young Angus MacGyver. Check it!
The Myth! Still love it!
great freaking show
