Incredible! The creativity is immense!

Is that it?

I know these are supposed to be short, but even that was too short.

loading replies

i was enjoying it but the ending was so disappointing

loading replies

God damn, this episode needs a sequel for sure!

loading replies

Talk about a story that ends too soon

I need a sequel of this !

The visuals are so good. I need MORE!!

Could have been a 7/10 or an 8/10, but it ended too soon.

This episode was really good. I would like to see them flesh out this concept further.

Surely one of the best. The worldbuilding demands its own universe or a mini series at least. We don't see sci-fi mini series often. It is either these criminally short shorts, or just movies. Concepts like these need much more elaboration.

[Netflix] Tim Miller's third short is an exposition about the arrogance of humanity in the face of knowledge of other races, the easy path to progress that nevertheless reveals an internal fragility. Something like the exploitation of the exploiter. Perhaps the ideas need more time to develop, which also underlines the open ending. The animation brings creative designs on creatures and shines in the action scene.

A cautionary tale about humanity's hubris and the consequences it has.

The animation was fine and the storytelling okay-ish even if not surprising. It was also quite disturbing. I don't know, for some reason this didn't grab me as some others did.

Damn. Damn! Animation was phenomenal, and the concept/story were absolutely amazing. The sex scene (such as it was) felt a bit out of left field, but I suppose it had to do with the two of them bonding despite some initial differences. I'd love a full movie of this, but as it was the story was nice and contained. I didn't have any questions by the end about what happened before OR after this short. This one is (in my opinion) second best for story (after Bad Travelling), and the best animation if you like "as realistic as possible" animation and not stylized in some way.

Interesting enough episode. Typical humans and their hubris biting off more than they can chew. The swarm has the same vibe as the Rachni from Mass Effect. Especially using someone as a puppet to speak with

Ah. Swarms.
:asterisk_symbol:goes to play Starcraft after this episode:asterisk_symbol:
Other than with zombie apocalypses, I don’t really get tired of explorations into alien cultures. Swarms do have a certain charm. Albeit rather dark.
