An important step in Lois and Clark's relationship, in an otherwise generic episode.

I feel sorry for Mason. I want her to be happy, and she's given Clark so much time and energy. I almost ship them together instead of Lois and Clark. Wish we had seen more of her in the show. We needed more of her and more of Lex this season!

Lois's strange kinda behavior this episode would make you think it's the typical rom-com weird/tragic/misunderstanding things going on. And it probably is, in this case. But i'd like to take a deeper look from a different perspective.

It's that, i feel bad knowing that Lois probably has mental health issues under the surface.

Lois is brilliant, but she has mental health issues, whereas Clark doesn't. This is the more complicated relationship between someone who has mental health issues and someone who doesn't.

Lois hides it well, sometimes, in the show, but she has them.

It's no excuse for Lois's behavior, but it makes me understand more. Clark was rightfully confused.
