Unbelievably contrived, with characters that leave you absolutely cold and plot twists that make you cringe instead of being surprising. Just one example: The main character's brother (who, by the way, is the absolute cliché of a drug fiend) recovers her cell phone from the bottom of the river Spree, explaining that he dived for it after she mentioned the rough location where she threw it in. (Not to mention that the phone still works perfectly and she uses it to play the second half of an audio message that - surprise surpise - reveals something that she could have known all along if she had only listed to the entire message first time around....)
