Initially I thought this would be a BL so I was planning to drop it but I'm glad I didn't. Aside from the concept in itself there wasn't a single scene related to "yaoi". This was a great fantasy comedy with a unique plot and weirdly adorable characters. One of the major downside would be the lack of side character development which is kind of needed in this type of shows. Overall I'd definitely recommend this to everyone.
