Legion: Season 1

1x03 Chapter 3

This episode might have settled it, I enjoy Legion!

The show seems to be trying to maintain its grip with this episode. We're back with Haller's hallucinations and memories. This time it only happens in Haller's head, so there's nothing as confusing as the pilot episode. However the episode seems to reuse similar editing technique with voiceovers haunting the scenes and flashes of scenes that glimpses us into Haller's memory. Some are executed very well, some others are... like a faulty Chekhov's gun, with them being there for no reason (like the intro of Melanie making coffee).

I'm still not getting this. The feeling so far is that the story is being stretched to fit a contracted number of episodes, and the filling materials have been extended accordingly. But I feel that it should be brilliant, so persevering for a couple more weeks.

Interesting. I feel like the show is developing quite nicely. I'm curious to what David can do just as much as the team training/observing him. And yes the memories are repetitive but they serve a purpose so I'm okay with it.

Well, I still don't know if I actually like this series, but it gets better with every episode. The first episode nearly made me quit, but it's getting better.

Now I only wish for them to get rid of "the devil with yellow eyes" because it's weird af and looks ridiculous and I hate it.
