But seriously, why's Sam so pushing for the deal? Just to cozy up to that new DA? The way I see it that "confession" could easily have been part of the roleplay. And she wants to base a bad deal on that without verifying facts about those alledged rapes? And given that the defendant already killed once and blackmailed who knows how many others... I'd say she is a danger for the public as well. Nolan is right: murder trumps not-verified claims.
