Maybe I'm naive - but how could that guy have been connected to the 3 cold cases back when they were hot when the one thing that points to him, i.e. the trophies/jewelry he has kept, only popped up because he killed the fourth victim, he popped up on camera, and they searched his home? Is this then really a racial issue - or simply a case of no traces? Unless of course, they just didn't check surveillance video, looked for witnesses etc back with the 3 other victims... and that would have identified the perpetrator. However, that ostensibly wasn't case, so why emphasize that racial bias/bias against sexworkers so much?
