This show has truly lost its way. This is just a punishing, boring, slog. We need less drama among the regular cast and more exciting mysteries.
Hopefully finding the Murderer and the Girl's Bodies would bring Closure for the Families. A good episode.

Organized Crime also had a scene this season where they had a flashback to a character's childhood bedroom with a song of the era playing. What an oddly specific coincidence.
This episode sucked. Boring, has nothing to do with anything, and didn't make a whole lot of sense. The actress playing Sykes continues to be absolutely terrible. Dud of a character. (What kind of name is Shannah, anyways? Lol)
It's also an abuse of power on Benson's part, not to mention misallocation of resources. There was no reason to pursue this case, but she doesn't really answer to anyone anymore, so she just did whatever she wanted and ordered her underlings to do so as well.
Benson has known and worked with Carisi for how long, and he's in her phone just as 'ADA Carisi?' Damn, that's cold and impersonal. Although I suppose that would put him near the top of the contact list.
I love the idea of the criminal constantly spouting his creepy bullshit as they spent hours in the rain digging up bodies, and they all just sat there and let him continue rambling without shutting him up.
