If you've been hiding the fact that your daughter is not your husband's child for the past 15 years, then why the fuck would you make an unprovoked rape accusation? You're just asking to be found out.
Of course when the alleged rapist is a friend of ours, we believe him... Kind of hypocritical for the SVU department.

That was pretty crazy, even by SVU standards. Having Peter say "let's investigate the rape allegation that I don't remember because I'm pretty sure I didn't do it," and then when she doesn't remember it happening, and there's no DNA on Peter, they still arrest him? That was a crazy gamble that wouldn't have paid off in real life.
