Ugh.. Enough with the politics.
Honestly, not sure what to make of this episode. Everyone knows who did it... and this time they just let the rapist get away with it? I'm not getting into the political side here, but the decision including the last conversation with the victim is harsh and too easily made. Can't say that I remember a case where Benson ever told the victim that they wouldn't get the perp and just deal with it. That shouldn't happen regardless of whatever issues the SVU has with victim and/or perp.
