The temporary captain acts like he's returning for the first time since the events of the previous episode(s), but they said Cragen was "cleared over a month ago." What the hell were they all doing for a month, then? Were they captainless for a month? Did they all enter a stasis?
There is no way in hell that any judge would've let Barba's antics with the belt go on for anywhere near that long.

god i hate this episode even more now than i did when it aired. the idea that writing something fictional means it secretly all has roots in reality is such fucking nonsense.
