What the hell could this have possibly gained? I guess his hope was that the mother would be sent to prison, but it's a really stupid gamble to take when you already have the law on your side. That was a dumb twist.
How many season finales involve recurring characters dying or getting injured? I feel like it's all they ever do now. Like, that's the only thing they can think of for an 'event' episode.
