7.5/10. The business about the craziness of Brazil's current political crisis was interesting, and the Supreme Court nomination issue was a little more pointed with less comedic juice to it, but overall the opening recap worked well enough.

Still, I find myself less than crazy about the main segment. Again I ask, how many Trump wall supporters are there among Last Week Tonight viewers? Did Oliver convince a significant number of people who previously thought Trump's wall plan, or his idea that Mexico would pay for it, was feasible? Still, at least this one was more informative and analytical about why the idea wouldn't work than his straight Trump take down episode, and in that regard, it brought both the facts and the comedy, which I appreciated. At the end of the day, it was enjoyable, even if it didn't break much new ground.

Oh, and Molly is the clear winner for Merrick pup!
