8.3/10. A great episode that showcases the sweetness of Hank's relationship with Ladybird, his competitiveness, and the heart in this series, which is always earned and never forced. Lots of laugh to go around in the ridiculous world of dog dancing (and some cruel but good comedy in Bill's pet Rex), but it's the story of a man and his dog, and the unexpected emotion within the ridiculousness of a canine dancing competition, that makes this one great.

I think something has happened in season 7, because I'm waiting for a good joke or something more funny than these lines they are giving the characters. Even Bill story had no turnaround. And I'm just waiting for someone to write a line deserving of Dale.
