Very cartoony and bubbly, but feels like a plunge in the deep end, trying to establish way too much of the world at once instead of letting some elements breath over a few episodes. I've never much been into monster collecting shows, so that angle grates a bit on me, and the CG almost feels intentionally 20 years out of date with its smooth lack of texture or shadow. But it was entertaining with a plucky lead, and once it settled into the henshin battle, I was okay with it. Not fully hooked, but we'll see how it plays out.
