I appreciate what they were going for with the Scorpios Rex, but they went out the other side of scary into plain old stupid-looking. The anatomy makes no sense - the part where it did the extended roar at the kids straight up looked like Doug Jones in an ill-fitting dinosaur costume - and the fact that Dr. Wu didn't destroy it even after it attacked him is dumb, even in a franchise founded on dumb decisions made by smart people. The show is still good and this episode was great, but that design doesn't do anything for me.
This episode was really well made, and the Scorpius Rex is legit terrifying.
