One of J Michael Straczynski's episodes, but I'm guessing it's one that played better on paper than it does in execution (typical DiC). The premise isn't bad, with the heroes following a trail to an actual branch of the Lightning League, albeit one that broke off a couple hundred years ago and stagnated under poor and isolated leadership as they're now just obsesses with military games and have no further interest in military action. So they turn on our heroes, and are bizarrely manipulated by Saw Boss's strongarm tactics. It largely falls apart with the mediocre animation, poor robot/vehicle design, and lousy voice acting, but even on a story level, it has some rough beats in the badly choreographed action and the deus ex shrink ray magic ring. Not some of Joe's best work.
