[7.3/10] Fun episode. The quest to find the shush man is appropriately ridiculous on both ends. Dee and Mac finding that it’s turtles all the way down when it comes to people lying on the internet is a nice job of comic escalation, especially when Dee finds out she was getting catfished like everyone else. And Dennis and Charlie’s crusade against this avatar of rudeness that, of course, involved them being horribly rude themselves, was amusing enough, particularly their awkward conversations with the bartender at the gin joint and the cops.
This is also one of those IASIP that’s perfectly fine for most of the way, but gets bumped up a notch for the ending. Frank’s “virus video” is a hilarious misunderstanding and wrings the comedy from his blatant lies (plus it’s nice to have a call back to Dr. Mantis Toboggan). And the fact that after all their fruitless searches, taking the sign off the bar really did lure the shusher in was the perfect capper.
Overall, an enjoyable ep that’s boosted by its ending.
