He's finally reached the end of the D.E.N.N.I.S. System and is trying to Separate Entirely...
they actually ended the season with a cliffhanger...... i feel betrayed
I love that Dee still has those sick moves from the inflatable dude.
this was a shocking episode for several reasons but the waitress agreeing to have sex with Charlie in the first place AND also trying for a baby with him is still hard to believe wtf
charlie with the waitress... man what a hell of a ride to get to this point wow.
my favourite thing about her is how her hair's always changing super drastically, i know thats kind of the point. but still, i love it.
Season 12 is near perfect. They gave Dee a crowning moment, Mac comes out, Charlie finally achieves what he's been after and they humanize Dennis. Honestly, if this was the finale it would be a massive success. 12 Seasons in - insane. I know it's downhill from here and that sucks, but wow, this was a great season.
Omg charlie and the waitress!!! After 12 seasons and 132 episodes charlie finally got what he’s always wanted!!!
So is he just Brian now, or Dennis jr, or they sticking with Brian junior?
i'm so hyped for this episode already
I have never really liked Dennis until this season. I cannot believe how much he's grown
lol me too! what could it be ?

[8.0/10] Fine note for the season to go out on, with an episode that packs in all of the insanity of The Gang, with just a hint of heart and sentiment. The assortment of zany schemes from everyone is true to form, and a nice tribute to the show as a whole in what feels like a capstone for the series, even if there’s two more contractually-obligated seasons to come.
For one thing, the notion that Dennis has, title-be-praised, a double life, is a nice comic setup. I like seeing him scramble to marshal the rest of The Gang to go along with it, and The Gang, naturally, screwing everything up and taking everything up to eleven. Mac claiming to be Dennis’s emotional confidante and partner, Frank pretending to be a millionaire willing to barter (but only a little) for sex, and Dee trying to fake her brother’s death are all characteristically looney responses to Dennis’s problem. Plus, Dennis posing as Brian LaFev and having a kid with a poor North Dakota woman is a nice winking bit of continuity.
Then there’s the B-story, with Charlie finally being the dog who catches the car he’s been chasing (in this case, The Waitress) and then not knowing what to do with it. I appreciate the show finally pulling the trigger on Charlie’s stalking behavior and turning the tables, even if there’s some cliché stereotyping of women in there.
I also get a kick out of poor Dee being naturally assumed to be the person who’ll put up with everything and gets ignored when she protests. It’s a nice, self-aware salve to some of the uneasier stuff with The Waitress, and has comic escalation to it.
Then there’s the ending, which, while not the boldest thing IASIP has ever done, is still pretty damn bold. Dennis himself actually having feelings while holding his son, looking at his compatriots doing their signature dances, and then deciding he wants no more of it, is legitimately poignant. The show takes care to undercut it with the usual sharp-elbowed humor, and Dennis doing an abortive Cheers finale riff is amusing, but if this really is Dennis’s last hurrah, it’s a nice note to go out on (that and the RPG explosion).
Overall, a stellar end to a much shakier season of the show, that sends a character off in an ambitious way.
