For Christ's sake, they really just killed him off!? I knew something was off when the transfer and release seemed to overlap, but I wasn't expecting him to just die after all these happy moments.
My guess is the governor or Annalise's ex-boss is somehow responsible for it. It looked like Nate Sr was shot in the head and I don't know who else we know has a reason to kill him.
Besides that I cringed when Asher started calling Connor's mother "mom" because we already know they'll hook up, I laughed at Laurel calling out Michaela on her love for Tegan, I teared up during the scene with Oliver and his mother, and I was kind of relieved Christopher said he has no interest in Laurel because I really hope these two won't hook up. Oh, and I don't trust Bonnie's sister at all. She was "telling the truth" way too quickly.

I totally agree with Oliver’s mom about Connor! Oliver had a good life before meeting Connor and now all he has is a sobby pathetic bitter little man as a partner.
And I have no words about that other situation... here I am talking about how this show doesn’t do obvious but it did the typical played out storyline! I think this is the first time a death has been unnecessary. And these kind of deaths are always during the transfer, like at least they could’ve picked a different moment! My only guess is that the governor did this so that she didn’t have to pardon him and that way she has the upper hand with Annalise and made her quit her job just for nothing.
And even tho the pardon sounded like a great idea, I don’t feel like it was the right thing for Nate sr at the moment (hope I don’t sound as a douche) but after being 30 years locked up, most of them in solitary, and obviously having mental issues, I think it was the best for him to be in that mental facility -which sounded pretty good- for a few months or even a year, while he got used to the transition (remember what happened to Annalise’s cellmate???) so I think Annalise was dumb for quitting her job.
Good. Sick of that storyline.
