Rachel has the most generic sounding female voice. Was that her real voice or was it intentional for her voice to sound like that?

7.7/10. I kind of hate how much I enjoyed this one, because the whole shtick is a little weird and a little gross. (Not the concept of a threesome, but the scheming and prize for it.) And yet then I think I'm being too uptight, and I should really just kick back and enjoy the magical realism of the show with an endearing character dynamic between its principals that shows up when four of them are planning and figuring things out in Ted's room together. It's a silly premise for a story, but everyone involved is so damn funny in how simultaneously seriously and ridiculously they take the entire thing that it works. It's trademark HIMYM shenanigans, and I am powerless to resist it.

Robin's story, on the other hand, was much weaker, and almost felt like a throw-in. The whole leg-shaving thing had potential, but probably should have either been fleshed out into a more robust part of the episode, or just abandoned entirely. The twist at the end with the waitress was cute, but otherwise this wasn't one of the show's best B-stories.
